How the Minmo API Works

The basic flow of a Minmo API-powered swap:

Your App → Minmo API → Agent Network → Fiat Payment → User

  1. User initiates swap within your application.
  2. Your app calls the Minmo API with the specific details of the swap.
  3. Minmo intelligently matches the request with an available agent who possesses the necessary liquidity.
  4. Escrow locks the funds (either Bitcoin or fiat, depending on the swap direction) to secure the transaction.
  5. The agent facilitates the payment using the chosen method, such as M-Pesa or a bank transfer.
  6. The user confirms receipt of the funds (or the agent confirms, depending on the transaction direction).
  7. Escrow releases the funds to complete the swap.
  8. Your app receives a webhook notification with the completion status, keeping you informed in real-time.
