Swap Links are personalized URLs that directly connect users to a Minmo Agent’s Bitcoin exchange service. It’s like a mobile Bitcoin counter, easily shareable via WhatsApp, embedded in websites, or posted on social media. Users click, swap, and the agent facilitates the transaction.

How Do Swap Links Work?

For Agents:

  1. Get Your Link: When you create your Minmo agent account, a personalized swap link, such as swap.minmo.to/your-username, is automatically generated.
  2. Customize Your Profile: Set your supported currencies (KES, UGX, USDT, BTC), add payment methods (M-Pesa, bank transfers, etc.), configure your margins (how much you earn per swap), and set transaction limits.
  3. Share Your Link: Post it in WhatsApp groups, add it to your X bio, share it in Telegram communities, send it via SMS, print it on business cards, or embed it in your website.
  4. Receive & Fulfill Requests: Get notified when someone uses your link, view swap details in your Minmo app, facilitate the payment, and earn your margin.

For Users:

  1. Click Agent's Link: An agent shares their Minmo swap link with you.
  2. Enter Swap Details: Enter the amount you want to swap for bitcoin or fiat, and select a payment method.
  3. Complete Payment: Follow payment instructions (M-Pesa number, bank details, etc.), send payment via your chosen method, and upload payment confirmation.
  4. Receive Bitcoin: The agent confirms payment, and Bitcoin is released to your wallet, completing the transaction.
